Why would my side-by-side Maytag Plus fridge side not cool, while the freezer works great?
Why would the freezer work great, while the fridge keeps things just a little above room temp, w/ the temp setting cranked on the fridge side?
For the record... I manually defrosted it (unplugged it for 24-48 hours), and that seems to have done the trick. But, we'll see.
There's usually a fan between the two units that might be bad or a frozen evaporator coil caused by not defrosting.Should be able to hear the fan run if you hold in the door button when the door is open.
