What's the best way to properly sort 100's of photos by category, date and time ? (Vista Ultimate)?
I have literally hundreds of photos that i need to sort to present as evidence in a court case.
So far they are not organised, but I did set the time and date on my camera.
Looking for sound advice - and in simple terms.
I have Vista Ultimate. Please help.

I have vista home premium, but should be the same procedure.
In your picture folder look above the pictures.
First there is the Organize, Views, Slide Show, Burn commands. Use views to chose between lists, details, thumbnails ect.
Below that are Name, Data Taken, Tags and Rating. Each of these have a drop down to allow you to group your pictures by various criteria. I like Stack by Name or Data Taken. If you have used tags the Stack by Tags should work well.
Play with these setting as see if that helps. If not, you may want to find a good photo manager. I use Paint Shop Pro with has a pretty good file manager. It came within Corel Meida One which is ok, but I don't really use it. There are probably better ones. I'm happy enought with Vista Folders and PSP when I'm using it.
