Is Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch Tablet Any Good?
I want to buy a pen tablet, and while I was searching I found the Bamboo Pen and Touch. The cheapest one is at a BestBuy near me for about $130 and it has a pretty good sized active area. For those of you who have one, can you tell me the goods and bads about it? Should I buy a different one? Thanks, I appreciate it.
Wow if you said no, then you should get hit on the back of the head, no offense. It depends what you use if for, but for me I LOVE mine.
The good is really for how much YOU will get use out of it, if you draw, and want to be able to paint/draw on your computer now, then this is a good tablet, I have had mine for just under a year, and I have mostly good things to say about it, with the one a got, it came with Software DVD (containing Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 for Windowsdows/6.0 for Mac and Nik Color Efex Pr03.0 WE3 and Corel Painter Essentials 4) now if you just add the software up, you get over $200 worth, I think that the Corel Painter Essentials 4 was worth the $200, I love that software, I also love that the pen tablet's pressure sensitivity, so it 'feels' like a real pen/brush, I am thinking that you plan to use this for some form of art, then I do not see why you would even need a pen tablet, and just so you no my avatar was made on my pen tablet(well remade, I did draw it on paper first, but that still). I think this is a good time to think of Cnet, they did a very nice review of the a pen tablet, this is not the one I have, but is very similar, the one I have came with a mouse, and I think most do.
