What is the font used in Hewlett Packard ads and on the cover of a Jonathan Safran Foer book?
Does anyone have a clue what font was used on the cover of "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer? It was also used in many ads for Hewlett Packard (in way too similar way to J.S.F.'s book cover).

Hi! I don't know which Hewlett-Packard ads you mean, but the book cover was hand drawn by a designer named Jon Gray. Which ads are you referring to? Here's an interview with Gray and some of his other covers... he's terrific!

*****EDIT: I think you mean these: http://www.hp.com/personalagain/us/en/index.html?product=vrcp I couldn't find the exact one (there are so many.. you can search through 'comic' caegories for more) but these are similar. Oh.. the writing on the 'hand' has been enhanced by drawing if you look at repeating letters as their size and character varies (the 'u,' the 'r,' etc).
